Adam Fingerhut
The face and brain behind Fingerhut Recruiting.
How I got here:
I started my staffing career in 2012 where I worked at Robert Half Technology in Chicago as an Account Executive for the contract division. This is where I first started placing developers. I left RHT and went to Instant Technology where I got promoted to Vice President of Sales within 1 1/2 years. I was doing extremely well and had a ton of clients/job openings, but I wasn't able to recruit.
I joined Hirewell in late November 2014 where I was going to be a full-desk recruiter. I got up to speed quickly and was promoted to Vice President - IT Recruiting in January 2016. I made the sales incentive trip multiple times and was always a top performer.
I went into software sales for a short period of time and missed staffing. I was able to go back to Hirewell as a Recruiting Operations Manager. This role really got me well-rounded as a recruiting professional and what I learned there gave me the confidence to go on my own.
The start of Fingerhut Recruiting:
Delivery is everything to me.
The only way I could truly succeed in this was to create a dedicated hourly recruiting model where I am fully dedicated to their hiring needs. I want every client I work with to know I have their back and will do everything I can to fill their open roles.
My caliber of talent and how I look at recruiting differs from others in the field. I am looking for the perfect match who not only has the skills for the job but someone who wants to be a part of your company.
My goal is to get you the best talent in the shortest period of time.
Since creating this model, my clients have been very loyal and have come back for additional engagements.

When I’m not recruiting:
I love spending time with my wife, daughter, and son. I actually met my wife at Instant Technology.
Hockey has always been a big part of my life. It has taught me so much and I have made some great friendships over the years.
I have gotten really into riding my Peloton bike, traveling, trying new restaurants, cooking, and hanging out with friends and family.
